Description

21% CO acts as a stabilizer of drying power in paints drying by oxidation. Organic pigments with a high specific surface area, such as lampblack, helium blue, red Toluidine, and Lithol can adsorb considerable amounts of drier active ingredient. This also applies to very fine particle mineral pigments such as iron and titanium oxides transparent. After prolonged storage, the drying power of the paint can be lowered. It acts in a controlled way against the degradation of power drying without changing the initial phase of drying the paint. 21% CO has no adverse effect on film quality.
