SILRES BS 6042

SILRES® BS 6042 is a solventless, modified silicone resin used as stand-alone silicone for the production of silicone resin emulsion paints and plasters. SILRES® BS 6042 provides coatings with long-lasting reduced water absorption, efficient early rain resistance and high water vapor permeability. SILRES® BS 6042 is recommended for: • Silicone resin emulsion paints and plasters • Paints and plasters for ETICS Paints and plasters formulated with SILRES® BS 6042 have the appearance of a mineral based coating, show high hiding power and are UV-resistant. SILRES® BS 6042 can be used to formulate eco-label complying coatings.
