TECOFLEX EG-93A-B20

TECOFLEX EG 93A B20 is a medical grade aliphatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer. It offers an inherent UV stability that resists yellowing by aging and sterilization. TECOFLEX EG 93A B20 has a durometer hardness of 87A and specific gravity of 1.08. It provides good mechanical properties with a flexural modulus of 3,200 psi and tensile strength of 7,700 psi. TECOFLEX EG 93A B20 can be processed through extrusion and injection molding. Its low mold shrinkage of 0.006-0.010 in/in is beneficial for precision and dimensional stability in advanced material applications. The inherent UV resistance of TECOFLEX EG 93A B20 makes it suitable for medical and healthcare advanced material components exposed to sterilization and long term UV exposure. TECOFLEX grades are well-konwn for their luxurious haptic and patient comfort from the in-body softening effect.
