METHOXYPENTANE

Methoxypentane is a new, hydrophobic ether of high purity. Methoxypentane has no labile alpha-hydrogen atom, resulting in a low reactivity, enhanced stability, and in particular a high resistance to peroxide formation. Can also be used as an oxygenate in gasoline fuels.
