DESMODUR NZ 486 BA

DESMODUR NZ 486 BA is an aliphatic polyisocyanate based on isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). It is suitable for use as the hardener component for weather-stable systems. DESMODUR NZ 486 BA polyisocyanate can be used in the formulation of pigmented two-component systems for exterior use. In combination with Desmphen NH-types the use of DESMODUR NZ 486 BA can also improve the adhesion over various primers. Addionally DESMODUR NZ 486 BA may be used for formulating moisture-curing, one component systems with good gloss retention, light stability and chalk resistance in pigmented formulations. It provides benefits such as weather stability, adhesion, gloss retention and resistance to chalking ideal for long lasting exterior applications.
