LOXIOL AF 90

LOXIOL® AF 90 is a fatty acid ester of a polyglycol used as an antifogging agent in polyethylene and polypropylene films. It transforms droplets of condensed water into a continuous and uniform transparent layer of water on materials. LOXIOL® AF 90 is solely based on vegetable raw materials as well as synthetic sources. For both homopolymer PP and random copolymer PP (with a small share of ethylene) the hot fogging performance is fast and satisfactory, as well as the cold fogging performance in random copolymer PP. LOXIOL® AF 90 is also suitable for PE agricultural films. As a solely vegetable and synthetic-based product, LOXIOL® AF 90 allows for sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing of Advanced Materials.
