OLEAT OF COTTON UP

Oleat of Cotton UP is a liposoluble extract obtained from the fruits of the cotton plant. It is a transparent liquid with a pale yellow color and characteristic odor. This extract has a refractive index between 1.437-1.443 and density between 0.916-0.925. Microbiological testing shows less than 100 CFU/g of total aerobic mesophilic microorganisms. Additional analysis found no presence of 26 known allergenic substances. Oleat of Cotton UP is soluble in mineral oils, vegetal oils and ethanol but not water. It has a 3 year shelf life when stored at room temperature in original packaging without a preservative. This cotton extract is beneficial for personal care formulations by providing emollient and moisturizing properties to help condition and soften skin or hair.
