IMCD Benelux has joined forces with colleagues from Rotterdam (Kop van Zuid) and Mechelen to promote a cleaner environment around their offices in Rotterdam and Mechelen. During this year's Week Without Waste, which took place from May 25-31, IMCD employees actively picked up litter near their offices.
The Week Without Waste is an initiative that aims to make people aware of their waste production and encourage them to look for ways to reduce it. Garbage in public places is not only harmful to the environment but can also reduce the livability of neighborhoods. By pinning trash, IMCD contributes to a cleaner, healthier, and more attractive environment for everyone.
The waste-picking action is a team activity in which employees from both locations in Rotterdam and Mechelen work together. Armed with prickers, gloves and garbage bags, IMCD employees collected various types of litter again this year.
Although the Week Without Waste takes place only once a year, IMCD Benelux invites everyone to participate in such initiatives. Together, we can make a difference. Whether it's litter poking, recycling, or reducing plastic use, every small step contributes to a bigger change.
